30 minutes of Safari Mall was a 1/2 hour YouTube special that was uploaded on the night of November 19th 2018. The special was made to celebrate the event "Safari Mall LIVE!" that was to take place on the 21st and as a video to introduce the show to new puppeteers that were coming to work with them.

The special was hosted by Lilly Monster who talks about the work behind Safari Mall,the characters and the educational goals and demonstrates some of the things they do by showing a compilation of Safari Mall video clips.

The special played a lot of Safari Mall clips from the past season along with 2 brand new clips for following season including Big Red singing "The Sound of A" and Kermit the Frog (performed by guest puppeteer Tommy Roach jr) singing "Lime in the Coconut".
